Nicolas specializes in evaluating government programs. His notable experience in this field includes work as an evaluation and research adviser for several organizations. He has worked as a program evaluator for Jolicoeur et Associés since 2006, contributing to many quantitative and qualitative surveys. He is responsible for technical coordination of projects, statistical processing, analysis and writing research reports.

He served as president of the Board of Directors of the Société québécoise d’évaluation de programme and editor of the SQEP information bulletin from 2010 to 2012.
Nicolas has a Masters degree in Public Administration. In 2021, Nicolas earned his CAIP designation from the Canadian Research Insights Council.
